The Future of Ferrari?

Designer Iman Maghsoudi believes driving cars in the future will be akin to operating a PC while traveling 200 km/h. Humans lacks the concentration and dexterity required to handle such a task but the inevitably of hyper-computerized vehicles is a truth we can’t avoid. Monza is built for speed but smart enough to drive itself.

At slower speeds, the “pilot” sits in a cockpit similar to straddling your office chair like a motorcycle and has full control. Once you exceed a specified speed limit, the computer takes over. The vehicle changes shape resembling an airfoil for maximum aerodynamics. The design creates lift to reduce friction and strong ground effects keep you from taking off. The 2 manta ray like fins adjust to channel air smoothly across the vehicle while also serving to make you look totally bad ass!!

Ferrari Testarossa Concepts!

As fans, we're comfortable looking inside Ferrari's all-star pantheon: The Enzo a monstrosity, yes, but it's family rubs shoulders with the F50. The pugnacious Testarossa and the subtle Dino punctuates a Ferrari red line that stretches back to the sublime, the quintessential, the damn-near aesthetically and mechanically perfect 250 GTO. Yet here, crammed inside Ferrari's Park Avenue showroom, are 20 new, wild and daring sculptures. Some are retro, almost art deco in form, with broad-shouldered curves and imposing fascia; others are pure fantasy, paying no heed to the imaginable limits of aerodynamic design. But somehow they're familiar call them variations on the theme of Enzo. In their own, sometimes subtle ways, they are all Ferraris.

Air Jordan Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Air Jordan line has inspired tons of people over the 23 years, and while reading Sole Collector magazine you’re guaranteed to see some off the wall Jordan content. However, this is by far the most interesting Air Jordan tribute we’ve ever seen. This 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee obviously pays homeage to Tinker’s world famous cement print and the well branded Air Jordan Jumpman.

This Jeep can be seen skating down the streets of Atlanta. The owner Roland works at Graphic Signs in Fayetteville, GA and Roland told us he loves Air Jordans. Roland also informed us that he wanted to do something different, and advertise for the shop at the same time. This full body vechicle wrap will run you anywhere from $2,000-$2,500.

Must See!!!! Spadaconcept TS Condatronca

Spadaconcept is a new Italian design studio founded by Ercole Spada, his son Paolo Spada, manager Domiziano Boschi and designer Wojtek Sokolowski. With the TS Codatronca project, their goal is to revive the classic Italian sportscar concept, which mixes modern technology with tradition. The technical basis is provided by the Chevrolet Corvette; both the chassis and the engine have undergone numerous changes in order to improve performances. The TS Codatronca will be produced in partnership with UKGarage in a limited series.

The design language of the TS Codatronca makes use of a mix of styling cues from the designers' past projects. The shooting-brake silhouette and the truncated tail, which gives the car its name ("Coda Tronca" is "Truncated Tail" in Italian) is a claimed homage to the 1960s Alfa Romeo specials created by Ercole Spada himself. The typical tail design was one of the main design elements of the Giulietta SZ, the Giulia TZ and the Giulia TZ2. Compared to these classic Italian GTs, the TS Codatronca adopts a different surface design. The body features sharp edges and straight cutlines that are quite different from the smooth and soft volumes of the 1960s Alfas. The front end has some similarities with the Ferrari FZ93 Concept, created by Spada in 1993, especially in the hood surface and the front spoiler.Further styling elements are shared with the Ferrari 595 Daytona Concept, created in 2005 by Wojtek Sokolowski (together with Ivan Telesca) for the Ferrari New Concepts for the Myth design competition.

BMW M1 Homage

To mark the 30th anniversary of the BMW M1 super sports car, BMW Group Design is presenting a homage to this legendary model as part of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2008.

Lamborghini Spiga Concept

The main proportions of the car are based on the Lamborghini Gallardo. The main design characteristics of the car are the flowing lines of the rear and middle sections which remind of human muscles stretching to the back. The front end, which is slightly different from the rear, gives a sense of speed and forward movement when viewed form the side angles. The side air intakes are integrated in the body - a typical styling cue of Lamborghini's sportcars. The name "Spiga" refers to the roof shape of the car which sticks out along the windshield giving it a spike-like shape (the italian "spiga").
